World Summit of Development Banks: Accreditation Open for Journalists

Journalists interested in covering the Finance in Common Summit (FiCS), to be held in Cartagena, Colombia, on September 4-6, 2023, can now register on the event's website.

All journalists wishing to cover the summit in person or online must register before August 20. Accredited journalists will have access to press conferences, plenaries, panels and keynote speeches. Journalists will be accredited upon approval by the organizers.

FiCS 2023 aims to strengthen coordination and collaboration among public development banks around the world to promote sustainable development and align financial flows with the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement on climate change. Representatives of more than 520 public development banks will participate.

This fourth edition of FiCS will focus on four themes: SMEs and financial inclusion, climate and biodiversity, sustainable infrastructure, and the institutional agenda of public development banks.

The summit is organized by Colombia's business development bank (Bancóldex), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Latin American Association of Development Finance Institutions (ALIDE). It is also supported by the FiCS General Secretariat, the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the World Federation of Development Finance Institutions (WFDFI).
