Shakira and IDB’s President Moreno invite you to participate in the 4th annual ALAS-IDB early childhood awards: you can still apply!

The activist Shakira, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the ALAS foundation have extended the contest deadline until the 31st of July, 2016. Your nomination still counts.

“One of the most efficient ways to intervene in our society is through early childhood development. As such, IDB and the ALAS Foundation have united forces to identify exemplary programs for infants in the region,” states Shakira, well known for her activism in the area of early childhood development and promotion of the ALAS-IDB Awards.

For his part, President Luis Alberto Moreno of IDB expressed that the first three ALAS-IDB contests revealed a high-interest in early childhood education throughout the region. In fact, the 2015 edition received more than 1,700 nominations, and as such, the IDB hopes to continue to receive examples of innovative programs and excellent practices in early childhood development.

Remember, we are accepting your proposals until July 31, 2016. Don’t miss out!
