Mexico President Vicente Fox Quesada and Inter-American Development Bank President Enrique V. Iglesias will participate in a signing ceremony at IDB headquarters, 1300 New York Ave. N.W., at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6. Two loans totaling $1.05 billion, one for housing and the other for agriculture, will be signed.
The operations are designed to improve and expand the country’s system for financing mortgages and housing subsidies for middle- to low-income families and to assist small farmers through the Mexican government’s PROCAMPO program of direct support for agricultural producers.
