The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Peruvian Ministry of Economy and Finance, and ProInversión are organizing the 12th edition of PPP Americas, the premier event on public-private partnerships in Latin America and the Caribbean.
PPP Americas 2025, to be held in Lima on April 8-9, will bring together over 600 government leaders, investors, and experts from 25 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Senior officials from the IDB and IDB Invest, the institution's private-sector arm, will attend.
Participants will discuss the main challenges and opportunities for boosting the region’s development through the private sector and closing its gaps in infrastructure and public services through public-private partnerships.
Evidence shows that well-structured PPPs generate efficient infrastructure, optimize public-resource use, and directly benefit the economy and society.
PPP Americas 2025 will feature more than 125 panelists, who will discuss digital transformation, mobilizing financing, attracting private investment, innovation for sustainable impact, and evaluation for continuous improvement.
This is a biannual event. At the 2023 edition in Panama, over 400 projects at different stages of maturity were identified, with nearly $120 billion in investment opportunities.
