The "Mosoj Bolivia Innova " event, to be held on February 15 at 11 a.m. at the headquarters of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), will present solutions in technology, urban transport, road safety and gastronomy that are improving the quality of life in Bolivia. The participants will explain how their innovative ideas were born and, with the support of the IDB, transformed into projects that create jobs and improve the lives of thousands of Bolivians.
IDB President Luis Alberto Moreno will hold a conversation with four of the Bolivian innovators.
The innovators are:
César Dockweiler is the Executive Manager of the State Cable Transport Company "Mi Teleférico"
Jorge López is the Founder and CEO of the JALA Group with more than 800 employees, including Jalasoft, the Jala Foundation and Jala Industries.
Marsia Taha is the Executive Chef of Gustu Restaurant, which recreates traditional Bolivian flavors with native products. The restaurant has been internationally recognized as one of the best in the continent.
Sebastián Quiroga is the Executive Chef and owner of the Vegan Restaurant Ali Pacha (its name in Aymara means "universe of plants"). The restaurant proposes a new gastronomic concept and revival for the center of La Paz.
Sergio Caballero is the Municipal Secretary of Education and Citizen Culture Municipal Government of La Paz seeking to implement educational processes of emotional management and citizen culture for directors, teachers and students throughout the fiscal education system of the municipality.
Soledad Pathi is the Trainer of the Zebra Program of the Municipal Autonomous Government of La Paz. She is currently the Assistant of the II Education Unit of the Municipal Secretary of Civic Culture and Education since 2017.
