Event in Santiago, Chile, June 20-22, will provide a space to identify new business opportunities, strengthen partnerships and disseminate knowledge
The Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group, will hold the seventh edition of PPPAmericas, an international conference that focuses on innovative trends in public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Latin America and the Caribbean. This year, PPPAmericas will take place on June 20 – 22 in Santiago, Chile. The event is being organized with support from the Chilean Ministry of Public Works.
PPPAmericas will bring together government officials and private sector experts involved in the design and implementation of PPPs to discuss lessons learned and best practices in project preparation and in managing partnerships to attract private investment. Speakers will present case studies and describe the experiences of various regional and international organizations as concrete examples of how PPPs can be used in projects (see this year’s agenda).
The conference also provides a space for business development and the identification of new partnerships by fostering networking through its parallel components. Moreover, PPPAmericas 2016 will feature a plenary session where speakers will present business opportunities in different countries and encourage the audience to provide feedback.
Registration is now open — participants that complete their registration in April will have access to a special early bird discount.
