On June 18, 2008 the Inter-American Development Bank President Luis Alberto Moreno addressed the German Parliament, The Bundestag.
Moreno was invited to speak before the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development on the perpectives for Latin America and the Caribbean and the opportunities for economic cooperation with Germany.
The President also met with the Committee on the Environment and the Vice-president of The Bundestag, Hermann Otto Solms, and held several working sessions with State Secretary Karin Kortmann of the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and with representatives from the private sector.
