The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will unveil a study about export opportunities and competitive challenges for Latin America and the Caribbean stemming from growing trade with India during a seminar at the Woodrow Wilson Center on July 27th.
During the event, co-organized by the IDB, the Asia Society and Woodrow Wilson Center, the Bank will launch the book “India: Latin America’s Next Big Thing?,” which looks into whether India has the potential to mirror the same type of economic development experienced by China in recent years and its potential impact on Latin America and the Caribbean.
Luis Alberto Moreno, President of the IDB, Meera Shankar, Ambassador of India to the US, Lee Hamilton, President of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and Jack Garrity, Executive Director, of Asia Society are among the participants of the seminar.
