The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) launched the 2024 Call for Proposals for the Regional Public Goods (RPG) Initiative in Latin America and the Caribbean, which supports regional projects involving three or more countries.
The RPG Initiative provides non-reimbursable financing for solutions to shared development challenges through regional cooperation among at least three IDB borrowing member countries. Since 2005, the RPG Initiative has financed more than 200 projects with around US$160 million.
The RPG Initiative will finance in 2024 regional coordination proposals aligned with one or more of the following three (3) core objectives of the IDB Group’s new Institutional Strategy: reducing poverty and inequality, addressing climate change and bolstering sustainable growth.
Information on the 2024 Call for Proposals can be accessed at the RPG Initiative website. All proposals must be presented in accordance with the Terms and Conditions applicable to the Call for Proposals and must be submitted via the online form before 05:00 pm (US Eastern Standard Time) on May 22nd, 2024. To be eligible to submit proposals within this deadline, interested parties must register here before May 6th, 2024.
