The Inter-American Development Bank and the European Union are sponsoring with the French Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Institute of the Americas the forum The European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean (EU-LAC) and the Challenges of Globalization.
The forum will foster the dialogue between the two regions and will help identify new objectives in common in the process launched in May at the EU-LAC Summit in Lima, Peru. The debate will focus on the economy, social cohesion and the environment.
The event will take place at the Main Auditorium of the Bibliotéque Nationale de France in Paris on October 6 from 9am to 6pm.
