On Monday, October 28, in Cartagena, Colombia, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Nestlé S.A. will co-host the forum: “Creating Shared Value: The changing role of business in development.”
More than 20 leading international and Latin American experts from government, academia, civil society and business will discuss how companies worldwide can work in concert with local communities and governments to accelerate sustainable development while generating value for firms.
Topics to be covered include: Challenges in nutrition across the Americas; Water, the Environment, and Food Security; and Rural Development.
This invitation-only, day-long event will be streamed in its entirety in both English and Spanish. Individuals following the web stream will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panelists via Tweets (@nestlecsv) and via email (questions@nestle.com).
