MIAMI – On April 5 at 12:15 p.m. at its Annual Meeting, the Inter-American Development Bank will launch a grant program entitled “Innovation for Inclusive Development“ to improve the quality of life of the poor and excluded in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Room C-228, from 12:15 p.m. to 1.15 p.m.
The program will support pilot projects that foster innovation in products, processes and services to create solutions, both technology-based and non-technology-based, to improve the living conditions of the vast majority of people living in poverty in the region. The IDB Science and Technology Division will award up to six grants, ranging from $30,000 to $100,000, under this initiative, which is cosponsored by the Italian Trust Fund on Information and Communication Technologies.
