The Inter-American Development Bank’s Youth Program, IDB Youth, will host Espacio de Vinculación, A.C. and Grupo Televisa at its Washington, D.C. headquarters from May 2-4 for an Espacio USA: Vanguardia Latina conference “The Latin-Hemispheric Agenda.” The event, which will bring together over 150 young Latin American students, will take place in the Enrique V. Iglesias Conference Center located at 1330 New York Avenue, NW, in Washington, D.C.
The media are cordially invited to attend the event opening on May 2, 5:30 p.m. Speakers will include Rafael Moreno Valle, Governor of Puebla, Mexico; Emilio Azcárraga Jean, President, Grupo Televisa and CEO, EVAC; José Miguel Insulza, Secretary General, Organization of American States (OAS); and Luis Alberto Moreno, President, IDB.
The closing session will be held on Friday, May 4 at 6:00 p.m. Speakers will include Gaston Melo Medina, President of Espacio Vinculacion A.C. (EVAC); Philippe Kridelka, Director UNESCO Liaison Office in New York; Hassan Tuluy, Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean, World Bank among others.
