Movie projection and panel discussion
At the Inter-American Development Bank Headquarters, an Expert Panel explores the impact of a child’s early environment on their cognitive, social and emotional development at the DC Premiere of The Beginning of Life.
Advancements in neuroscience uncover the crucial role that the early years of children’s lives play in determining their future successes. The Beginning of Life, a new 90-minute feature documentary, depicts how social environments are as important as genetics in influencing children’s development.
Effective early childhood development takes place when children feel nurtured, cared for, protected and loved. When children receive all of these key elements in their formative years of life, they have the best possible chance of developing fully.
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), through its cinema program, invites you to the Washington, DC premier of this film, which will be held at the IDB Headquarters on May 26th at 6:00 pm.
