Designed to be tiled across public pedestrian spaces in Mendoza, Argentina, this exhibition features 83 artworks from all the region’s member countries, while addressing the region’s development challenges.

Learn more about the murals “The Spirit of La Plaza”, crafted by Jamaican artist Kianne Patrice Hutchinson at our Headquarters in Washington, DC; “Latin American Female Identity” by Argentinian artist Mariela Ajras, a gift from the IDB to Washington DC on its 60th anniversary; and “Home: The Present, The Process, The Future” by Barbadian artist Sheena Rose’s stairwell mural depicting the Caribbean, and all of the Americas, a rich melting pot of cultures, languages, and traditions.
