For on-demand telehealth services (not virtual visits with your own providers), Cigna Healthcare uses MDLIVE. For members outside the U.S. or Puerto Rico, Cigna Global uses the Cigna Wellbeing app.

MDLIVE for Cigna offers four services: urgent care, primary care (wellness screenings and routine care), dermatology care, and behavioral care (therapy and psychiatry).
- Urgent care is available on-demand 24/7/365, or by appointment.
- Dermatology visits can be started 24/7/365, and dermatologists will respond with treatment plans within 24 hours. Primary care (wellness screenings and routine care) and behavioral care (therapy and psychiatry) require appointments.
- MDLIVE offers virtual consults via phone and video for urgent care, primary care, and behavioral care. Virtual dermatology visits are held entirely via messaging. The service can only be used when the customer is in the U.S. No services are provided internationally.
Customers can access MDLIVE via both my.cigna.com and the myCigna app. Single Sign On (SSO) capabilities are enabled on both the myCigna website and app to enhance the customer experience. A customer will not need to login again or register with a separate username and password on MDLIVE’s platform. They may also reach MDLive via phone at 888.726.3171
There is a virtual care landing page on myCigna.com which will provide a link to access MDLIVE and search for virtual care providers.
Customers can access virtual care on myCigna.com using the “Talk to a Doctor” button on the homepage or clicking on the “Find Care & Costs” tab.
Customers can access virtual care on the myCigna app using “Find Care & Costs” button and selecting “Virtual Care”.
MDLIVE has doctors who speak Spanish fluently. MDLIVE has a language line that customer service and provider can connect to.
You can access the Cigna Global telehealth service through the Cigna Wellbeing app, which can be downloaded from the Apple or Google app stores.
- On the login screen, enter “578” and then the remaining eight digits located beneath “Pers. Ref. n” on the front of your Cigna Global ID card (do not enter the “/”).
- Enter the password you created for your Cigna Health Benefits account and click “Log In.”
- Select “International Organization” and then click the “Get Care” icon to make a virtual doctor’s consultation.
