Our paid internships provide opportunities at the IDB, IDB Invest , and IDB Lab. Positions are available in our headquarters in Washington and in our offices throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Europe.
You’ll be working on-site at IDB Headquarters with our teams during this program, with the occasional flexibility of teleworking.

- University Letter: You must certify your current enrollment status, expected graduation date, and be issued within the last three months.
- Academic Transcripts: Official or unofficial, issued within the last three months, and must include all courses taken and grades.
Note: If you submit an unofficial transcript during the application, you will be required to provide an official transcript if you advance in the process.

During two months of hands-on experience, you will be part of teams providing operating and corporate solutions to clients from the public and private sectors.
This program is offered twice a year:
- Winter Internship: From January 16 to March 15
- Summer Internship: From June 16 to August 15
Applications are open approximately three to four months in advance.
