Alberto Nadal graduated in Law in Economic and Business Sciences from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in 1995. He has spent a good part of his professional career at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.  Mr. Nadal has been an economist with more than 29 years of experience in international development policy, economy, and finance. He was an Economic Advisor to the government’s vice president and Minister of finance economy. Chief Economist at the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (Spanish Public Bank). (2003-2004) Undersecretary for Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Economy. (2004-2009) Head of the Economic and Commercial Office at the Embassy of Spain in Washington D.C. (2009-2012) Deputy General Secretary for Economic, Labor, and International Affairs at the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE). (2012-2016) Secretary of State for Energy at the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism (Spain). (2016-2018) Secretary of State for the Budget at the Ministry of Finance (Spain).
