The objective of the prototype is to incentivize the generation of solar energy, and thus reduce GHG emissions, through a mechanism that facilitates access to renewable energyaccess to renewable energy certificates for small distributed solar photovoltaic generators in distributed solar photovoltaic power generators in Uruguay, including urban and rural households, MSMEs and institutions.
