Preparing You!

The objective of this project is to develop and implement disaster preparedness policies and plans that are tailored to the needs of vulnerable populations that attend/or reside within special needs institutions in urban centers in Trinidad and Tobago. The solution proposed by the Digicel Foundation involves building capacity of staff and students/residents at 8 special needs institutions across located in urban centers in Trinidad and Tobago to respond to natural or manmade disasters and risks through training and through the provision small scale but vital equipment and infrastructure upgrades.
