Studies On Social Protection for Poor
TC would fund applied research on targeting methodologies and safety nets in Latin America and the Caribbean. It would fund an analytic inventory of existing programs in Latin America and the Caribbean, preparation of best-practice cases, and cross-country exchanges of government technical staff working on targeted programs via an action learning methodology. It would also fund the preparation of technical notes and their dissemination on state of the art methodologies to measure the impact of poverty reduction programs in LAC, ranging from quantitative control group comparisons to qualitative beneficiary assessments. Cross-country exchanges of technical staff engaged in program evaluation using an action learning methodology would also be funded.
