The project's objectives are to: (a) identify, develop, implement and evaluate strategies and models of comprehensive care for people affected by sexually transmitted deseases (STD) and HIV/AIDS; and (b) design and implement the first stage of a regional epidemiological surveillance program to improve national and transnational responses for the control of STD and HIV/AIDS.
