Management of Environment Risk in Low Income Human Settlements
The principal objective is to improve the municipal (local) government's ability to reduce the vulnerability to environmental risks, of low income irregular human settlements in urban areas of Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Specifically the project will analyse and evaluate lessons learned from successful practices in environmental risk reduction, develop training materials and conduct a program of training f to support the Federación de Municipalidad de Centroamérica (FEMICA).
