Strengthening Environmental Management Systems in LAC Financial Institutions
This consultancy's general objective is to review the experiences of selected FIs in Latin America at designing and implementing Environmental Risk Management Systems or environmental review procedures. During discussions with FI management, Consultants will consider the following questions: 1) the background of the institution; 2) the specific environmental measures implemented by the institution (i.e. environmental policy, environmental risk management procedures, environmental legal covenants introduced in loan agreements, etc.); 3) the specific business benefits; and 4) the lessons learned.
