Amazon Cities Forum

This Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to support the design and implementation of the work plan of the Amazonian Cities Forum. The specific objectives are: (i) to support the institutional development of the Forum and its process of incorporation into the scope of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO); (ii) to support the organization and execution of thematic and annual meetings between authorities of the member cities of the Forum to promote the exchange of experiences among local governments, strategic partners, and other relevant actors; and (iii) to implement innovative initiatives for the reduction of climate risks in the Amazonian cities.
