Given that the basic concept of the Foreign Trade Electronic Invoice (FE-X) is that the value of the export transaction receipt from one country becomes the value of the import declaration in the other country, the use and benefit of FE-X depends on a cascaded and harmonized implementation in the countries of the region. The objective of this RPG is to support the implementation of the FE-X in the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region, helping to promote digitalization, regional and international trade in a context of trade traceability and integrity, and efficiency in the collection of taxes for the economic development of the region. All this, seeking that the adopted modality also contribute to generating efficiencies in the commercial and operational schemes of the companies, and in the fulfillment of their fiscal obligations.
