The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support key actors (service providers and regulatory and supervisory agencies) in the design and implementation of policies, mechanisms and practices of integrity and good corporate governance in the water and sanitation sector, through activities that support: (i) the preparation of diagnostics to identify weaknesses and the design and implementation of action plans to strengthen the integrity and good corporate governance practices of companies and regulators in the region; (ii) the strengthening of systems and mechanisms for transparency and information management, with emphasis on the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT); and (iii) knowledge generation and dissemination activities.

Strengthen the institutional capacity of IDB countries to prevent and control corruption through targeted transparency policies, practices and mechanisms, and in particular with the Open Government pillar of the Fund.
