A Digital Social Innovation Approach to Reducing Food Loss and Waste
This TC will contribute to closing the knowledge gap around the causes of food loss and waste and support the development of innovative ideas on how to tackle them. The specific objectives of this TC are to (i) analyze the policy framework and market failures around the issue in a select number of countries, (ii) gather first-hand information on the causes of food loss and waste, ((iii) support the development of innovative solutions to address the identified problems, and (iv) disseminate the generated knowledge and build capacity in public agencies to subsequently replicate the methodology.
