Improving the Quality and Relevance of Technical and Vocational Education in LAC
The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to assist governments in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) to improve the quality and relevance of TVET through developing and strengthening strategic partnerships and facilitating knowledge transfer. The specific objectives are: i) to underscore the potential of TVET in supporting national development agendas by presenting the case of Korea and other countries (Australia, UK, New Zealand, among others) that have been able to unleash TVET's potential, and ii) to gain a better understanding of the current state of TVET in the region in terms of provision, quality and relevance. This will enable identification of needs and priorities for LAC countries and thereby promote knowledge sharing of best practices tailored to the needs of each country.
