The overall objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to promote and exchange knowledge, experiences and innovation processes of decentralization and subnational fiscal governance by creating a network of regional technical dialogue as an articulator space. The Network will focus its activities on the following lines: (i) further assessment of the main challenges and difficulties of decentralization and subnational fiscal management; (ii) exchange, produce and disseminate expertise among its members; (iii) systematize evidence and best practices on the effectiveness of policies and programs, analyzing their implications and proposing guidelines for future work; (iv) support members in the adoption and implementation of good practices adapted to the context of each country or sub-region; (v) to contribute to regional technical dialogue and horizontal South-South technical cooperation; and (vi) support the training of core technical capabilities in these areas.
