Reaching the Majority in Health: Investment in Private Provision of Care

2.1 The objective of the project is to evaluate the feasibility of replicating selected models of private provision of care that have been successful in other environments, i.e., specifically in India. The purpose is to gain an understanding of the organizational and business principles at work, the nature and quality of the results achieved and the conditions under which replicability could be feasible. The purpose furthermore is to pre-identify possible areas of intervention and investment by the Bank.
