Unified Schools: Sport and Inclusive Education as Development Tools in Panama
The general objective of technical cooperation is to promote the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through sport. The specific objectives are: (i) to promote and share knowledge and experiences with civil society, policy makers and government officials in relation to best practices in promoting social inclusion through sport, (ii) implementing the Unified Sport model and Young Athletes in 50 public and private schools in Panama and iii) generate knowledge about the effectiveness of sports-based interventions as a tool for social inclusion
