Competitiveness of Rice Crop in Alto Mayo

The general objective of the project is to develop a pilot program to grow rice in the Alto Mayo zone. The goal is to verify if by applying an innovative crop technology (SRI) and other varieties of rice (NIR), there is better business performance. The specific objectives of the project are: (i) introduce a pilot project based on the proposed model; and (ii) create local capacity through research, training and dissemination.
