Technical cooperation will strengthen the institutional capacities of the Ministry of Finance and other fiscal institutions, creating a virtuous circle of expenditure formulation and implementation processes with budget execution and service improvement, and public sector execution with private sector and community participation. It will contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of Honduras' budget cycle, including planning, formulation, execution, monitoring, evaluation and accountability. The TC will help strengthen institutions to foster an enabling environment for the expansion of small and medium-size enterprises by conducting technical analysis and proposing a strategy to address structural challenges that limit their development.
