Restructuring Transportation Services
THE PROGRAM WILL SUPPORT A COMPREHENSIVE POLICY PACKAGE DIRECTED AT REPOSITIONING THE ROLE OF THE STATE IN THE TRANSPORTATION SECTOR AND OPENING UP INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO THE PRIVATE SECTOR IN PROJECTS WITH GROWTH POTENTIAL. IT WILL BE COMPRISED OF THE FOLLOWING FIVE COMPONENTS: NEW INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK, PORT MODERNIZATION, NEW CONCESSION REGIME FOR ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE, RESTRUCTURING OF RAILWAY SYSTEM AND LABOR MARKET FLEXIBILIZATION
