Coordination between Fiscal and Social Policy
This program will support the development a minimum set of institutional capacities (standards and policy tools) to improve the coordination and integration of economic and social policy formulation in the DR. The program shall be structured as a technical assistance facility aimed at developing institutional capacities within the STP as well as the social and economic cabinets. Program activities shall be directly linked to: (i) the execution of the SBA with the IMF; (ii) the implementation of the PRSP in the context of the MDGs; and (iii) the definition/identification of the institutional and organizational arrangements that are key to achieving points (i) and (ii) above.
