Indigenous Development and Promotion Program
The program's general objective is to help increase the incomes of indigenous households in Chile
by supporting business initiatives or projects proposed by indigenous organizations that are economically and socioculturally
sustainable, primarily in the agriculture, forestry, non-conventional renewable energy, tourism, and aquaculture sectors. The specific
objectives are to: (i) strengthen the capacities of indigenous organizations to improve the technical and sociocultural viability of their
business initiatives or projects; (ii) improve access to suitable financing for sustainable indigenous business initiatives or projects; and
(iii) strengthen the institutional capacities of CORFO and other public or private agencies related to the execution of indigenous
productive development programs.
