Mechanisms to Reduce Litigation in Brazilian Tax Litigation
The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to contribute to the reduction of tax litigations by the federal government through the following actions: (i) promote tax compliance and foster legal certainty; (ii) strengthen the relationship of trust and loyalty between taxpayers and the Treasury/tax administration; (iii) reduce the number of pending tax disputes (also known as "stock"); (iv) improve the speed in the resolution of cases, through the use of advanced technological tools, including artificial intelligence, and consensual solutions through the use of alternative resolution methods; and (v) promote the exchange of good practices at the national and international level to prevent and reduce tax litigation.
