A New Model for Cattle Ranching in Brazil: PECSA’s Sustainable, Deforestation-free Beef in the Amazon Region

Pecsa, a sustainable cattle ranching B-corp operating in the Brazilian Amazon, is a growth stage startup which have been a reference for a new cycle of cattle ranching in the country (and in the region), by working with medium-sized producers to both significantly increase their productivity levels (up to x5) and implement best-in-class sustainable cattle intensification and CSA practices (up to 90% GHG emissions per KG produced), all that at market rates of return. PECSA is seeking USD 6m in debt to transition from its current experimental stage to a commercial operation, with enhanced impact along the beef value chain.
