The Bahamas Program for Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Urban Mobility - I
The general objective of the CCLIP is to contribute to the inclusive, sustainable and resilient development of The Bahamas through the improvement of the quality, accessibility, resilience and sustainability of passenger transport systems and associated infrastructure. The specific objectives are to: (i) improve the quality, sustainability and accessibility of public transport services and associated infrastructure; (ii) increase the climate resilience of road transport infrastructure; (iii) improve road safety and security for vulnerable road users by increasing the safety, security and accessibility of urban spaces and street designs; and (iv) increase institutional capacity of the MoET to plan and implement sustainable, inclusive and resilient urban mobility policies and programs.
