Integrated Management Plan for Drainage and Flood Control in the Arroyo Medrano Basin (CAM)
This technical cooperation aims to support the preparation and proper execution of the Drainage Program for Vulnerable Municipalities ( AR- L1161 ), through the development of integrated management plans in vulnerable municipalities of Argentina, for the purpose of serving as a planning and framework for the implementation of preventive and corrective actions of the following causes : i) a structural nature associated with: the construction , expansion or rehabilitation of drainage infrastructure and flood control , and ii) nonstructural nature associated with: the design of institutions and adoption of financial/legal mechanisms and regulatory frameworks, required to mitigate risks of concentrated and high intensity rains.
