The general objective of the program is to contribute to improving the living conditions of the population living in the most socio-environmentally vulnerable areas of the city of Recife. Its specific objectives are: (i) to increase access to infrastructure, urban and social facilities and services, and productive programs; (ii) to reduce the risks of floods and landslides, taking into account resilience and climate adaptation criteria; and (iii) to increase the capacity of the City of Recife to manage urban development, housing, and environmental and climate risks.
