PN-T1219 : Juan Diaz Resilient Urban Watershed

The objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to contribute to the preparation of studies associated with the implementation of the operation "Urban Watershed Resiliency Program - Panama" (PN-L1150). The objective of the operation is to improve the quality of urban habitat in the city of Panama through investments to mitigate climate vulnerability, improvement of environmental assets, and improved urban growth management. The loan operation includes the development of flood risk mitigation interventions and the reduction of climate vulnerability, as well as complementary interventions to improve urban habitability and public spaces along the watershed. The TC contributes to the preparation of PN-L1150 through an integrated and updated study on risk and hidrology along the entire watershed, the development of a territorial management plan and associated urban interventions, green infrastructure solution capable of contributing to resilience and of complementing proposed civil works; and execution and project design studies.
