Partner institutions include artistic and cultural institutions and organizations of the Civil Society The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has selected 50 partner institutions to receive financing and technical assistance for cultural development projects in 26 countries. Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) President Luis Alberto Moreno and the Deputy Chief of Mission at the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., Jens Hanefeld, today signed an agreement for the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany to provide qualified young German associate professional officers to participate in IDB’s Fellowship and Associate Program. The framework agreement also assures funding for these young professionals by the German government for a maximum duration of two years.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Ricky Martin Foundation, the non-governmental organization Ayuda and the DC Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs have partnered to launch Call and Live in Washington DC, a campaign that promotes an anti-trafficking hotline for prevention and victim protection. Other local partners of the initiative include Telemundo, Univisión, Washington Hispanic and Radio Viva 900.
