US$20 million loan will train the Jamaica Constabulary Force to improve its handling and processing of murder investigations The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has approved a US$20 million loan to support the Government of Jamaica’s efforts to measurably increase the conviction rate for murders and other violent crimes. This project aims to help reduce homicides through intensified crime prevention activities as well as to improve the quality and rate of criminal investigations being managed by the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

The deadline for proposals is April 27 The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) launched a call for proposals in an effort to identify 10 of the most inspiring and creative initiatives that address the challenges of the Latin American and Caribbean communities located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Loans totaling $20 million to improve living conditions for Honduran women The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has approved two loans totaling $20 million to implement the Ciudad Mujer program in Honduras.
