Partner institutions include artistic and cultural institutions and organizations of the Civil Society The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has selected 50 partner institutions to receive financing and technical assistance for cultural development projects in 26 countries. These projects will receive grants under the Cultural Development Program, designed to support artistic and creative endeavors.

The initiative aims to show how sports and culture serve as a tool for youth development and to highlight their contributions through community service.

The Inter-American Development Bank will host Espacio de Vinculación, A.C. and Grupo Televisa at its Washington, D.C. headquarters from April 29 to May 2 for an Espacio USA: Vanguardia Latina workshop on “The Americas: A Hemisphere in Motion.” The event, which will bring together over 150 young Latin American students, will take place in the Enrique V. Iglesias Conference Center located at 1330 New York Avenue, NW, in Washington, D.C.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Ricky Martin Foundation, the non-governmental organization Ayuda and the DC Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs have partnered to launch Call and Live in Washington DC, a campaign that promotes an anti-trafficking hotline for prevention and victim protection. Other local partners of the initiative include Telemundo, Univisión, Washington Hispanic and Radio Viva 900.
