The meeting was held at IDB Headquarters in Washington, D.C., with delegations attending virtually and in person. Nominated by Brazil, Goldfajn will take office for a five-year term on December 19, 2022.

In Suriname, a significant percentage of people have difficulty accessing jobs for one of two reasons: they are not equipped with the skills demanded by the productive sector, or they lack labor market information to find a job that suits their skills.
