Mayors from Latin America and the Caribbean to Seek New Financing Sources for Cities

Trinidad and Tobago to increase social support for vulnerable groups with IDB help

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – The Government of Trinidad and Tobago signed a loan agreement with the Inter-American Development Bank to fund a program for people most affected by the Covid-19 crisis in Trinidad and Tobago.   The US$24.5 million dollar will help ensure basic quality of life standards for vulnerable persons are maintained in the immediate period and during the economic recovery of Trinidad and Tobago.
