The Inter-American Development Bank (“IDB” or “IADB”), rated Aaa/AAA (Moody’s/S&P), today priced a new USD 3.0 billion 5-year global bond. The transaction pays a semi-annual coupon of 1.750% and matures on 14 March 2025. It priced with a spread of 8.3 basis points over the 1.750% UST due 31 December 2024, which represents a yield of 1.762% s.a.

MADRID, Spain ‒ The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) announced the creation of the Green Bond Transparency Platform (GBTP), an innovative digital tool that brings greater transparency to the Latin American and Caribbean’s green bond market. The announcement was made at an event hosted by the IDB during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25), under the presidency of Chile, in Madrid, Spain.

The Inter-American Development Bank has approved a US$80 million credit line and an initial individual operation of US$20 million under this line to help Paraguay improve agricultural productivity through investments aimed at enhancing the government’s ability to deliver quality public services to producers. The specific goal of this first individual operation is to help boost the agricultural sector’s productivity and environmental sustainability by strengthening the country’s capacity to generate and transfer technology.

Washington, D.C. – The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB or IADB), rated Aaa/AAA (Moody’s/S&P), priced a new COP100,000 million 5-year fixed rate Colombian domestic bond. The COP100,000 million issue (equivalent to approximately US$29 million) priced on November 25 and was structured by Credicorp Capital Colombia. The issue was priced at 100 percent (plus on day of accrued interest).
