Argentina will strengthen transparency and integrity reforms with IDB support

A $200 million loan will contribute to access to public information, ethical conduct of public officials and management of the financial sector Argentina will continue to strengthen the transparency and integrity reforms of public management that the government has been promoting since 2016, with the support of a $200 million loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Argentina seeks to increase youth employment and reduce gender gap through sports

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has joined forces with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to launch an initiative that will benefit more than 4,000 young people through sports in Argentina. The project, which will be financed by US$1.5 million commitments from the IDB’s Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) and the IOC, was formally announced in Buenos Aires, Argentina as IDB President Luis Alberto Moreno and IOC President Thomas Bach signed a Letter of Intent.  

Italy to contribute to IDB Transparency Fund

Italy is joining Norway, Canada and MasterCard as a partner and contributor to the Inter-American Development Bank’s Transparency Fund , a vital tool to help countries strengthen their anti-corruption and pro-transparency reforms. The government of Italy has donated €1 million.
